Miss Foxine takes great care with every item shipped – each individual piece is thoughtfully inspected for any flaw or misplaced detail before it is sent. But should you have any issues please read below:
Please carefully choose your item(s) and email email@example.com with any questions prior to purchasing a design. Due to the handmade and delicate nature of the pieces created, refunds are not accepted at this time. If you receive an incorrect item, or if your item arrives damaged (not caused by shipping or careless handling), please email us asap. If the items damage is not due to shipping or careless handling, you will need to contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date and we will replace or repair the item as needed. After 48 hours of delivery, all damages will be the full responsibility of the buyer.
All return shipping fees for repairs or replacement items are the at the responsibility of the buyer.
Returns for Dresses, Gowns, Coverups, Apparel
Please carefully choose your item(s) and email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions prior to purchasing. As all garment items are made to order, we do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges. All items under this category is final sale. Ensure you are ordering the proper size prior to purchase by referencing your measurements against our measurement chart. As all our apparel is made to order to our specific size chart, your item(s) may require alteration or professional tailoring to fit your exact measurements. We advise you purchase the garment that is closest to your largest measurement to ensure all areas can be adjusted and tailored to your unique silhouette. All tailoring is at the sole discretion and responsibility of the buyer. Refunds are not offered due to the wrong size being ordered. If an incorrect item is sent, or if it arrives damaged not due to shipping or mishandling (not limited to but including forcing fit onto the body, tearing by hand or machine, or improper storage), please email us within 7 days with attached photographs and documentation to discuss available options for your specific product.
How long until my headpiece, veil, or jewelry will ship?
Made to order Items
We lovingly hand craft your pieces to order and we will ship your design in approximately 5 – 7 weeks* after purchase with your selected shipping method chosen at checkout. This processing and turnaround time is our best estimate and does not include delivery and shipping time. Unless arranged prior to purchase (rush orders, express production deposit etc.) production times are estimates and not guarantees. We encourage ordering your item(s) at the soonest possible time to ensure that you will receive it in plenty of time.
Ready to Ship Items
These items will ship out in approximately one week or less after purchase (not including delivery time from method of shipping purchased). This is the processing time and not the delivery time. If your order contains both made to order and ready to ship items, we will ship all items at the same time unless paid for additional shipping costs. This is how we offer combine shipping at a reasonable price. We encourage you to purchase sooner rather than later for all items, as our inventory and materials can fluctuate daily. We ship Monday – Friday and not during Canadian Holidays.

When will my Wedding Dress, Gown, Cape, or other Coverup Ship?
Miss Foxine Couture Bridal Designs are truly special as in all items are lovingly handmade locally in our Halifax, NS studio. Your dress, gown, or other wearable items will be made to order. We are extremely through in maintaining quality and craftsmanship as every piece is handmade in CANADA. This is why our wearable pieces take longer to create.
All Miss Foxine Couture wearable designs are made to order. Wedding Dresses, Gowns, or Dresses 3 – 5 months processing time, and all other wearable items 1 – 3 months processing time. These are estimates only, and do not include shipping time. If your order is time sensitive, to ensure a timely delivery or to make a rush order. For international orders please add 1 month to the processing time to account for delivery, customs, and other uncontrollable delays
Do you accept Rush Orders?
Yes, we gladly do! Rush orders for Hairpieces, Jewelry, and Veils depend on stock quantity and material availability. Please contact us with the date you wish to receive your item and we will let you know if your desired item can be made and shipped to you by that time. In general rush orders for Bridal Hairpieces, Jewelry, and Veils is an additional $40 on top of shipping and item price. Rush orders for Wedding Dresses and Gowns is an additional $300 on top of shipping and item price. Rush orders for other wearables like Coverups, capes, and slips is an additional $150 on top of shipping and item price.
Do you offer combine shipping?
Yes, we do! If your items are together in one purchase they will be automatically combined and shipped together. If you make separate transactions and wish for your pieces to be combined please leave a note with your last order, or send us an email at email@example.com ASAP so we can combine your items. Combined purchases ship at the latest turnaround time of one of your items.
When will I receive my item after it is shipped?
All shipping times are estimated, and depend on your location. Please read the guide below:
Canada: Standard Shipping takes approximately 5 – 7 business days. Express Shipping takes approximately 3 – 5 business days. Overnight Shipment is used upon request and is subject to a quoted rate.
U.S.A.: Standard Shipping takes approximately 7 – 14 business days. Express Shipping takes approximately 5 – 7 Business Days. Overnight (1 – 3 days) is used upon request and is subject to a quoted rate.
International (all other destinations): Standard Shipping can take anywhere from 14 – 30 business days or longer. Express Shipping takes approximately 7 – 14 business days. For an even faster method of 3 – 5 business days, quotes are available upon request.
Is my order trackable and insured?
All items purchased are fully tracked and insured for the full value for any shipping method purchase. We do not ship items without tracking an insurance. This protects our clients and business.
What if my package is lost or stolen during shipping?
After an order or item leaves our hands, it is at the mercy of the mailing service. Please ensure you have a secure mailing address listed, and that it is spelled correctly and includes a phone number. If your package is damaged or lost during shipping, please contact the shipping provider used to arrange for reimbursement as all shipments sent is insured with tracking. Finding your size for a Wedding Dress, Wearable, or Coverup
All garments are made to order and they are made according to our standard garment measurements. Please choose the size closest to your size based on our size chart. We recommend choosing the size that fits your largest measurement – bust or waist for fit and flair, or bust, waist, or hip for fitted all over. This allows for alterations to give a perfect fit. All alterations are at the client’s responsibility, and all of our garments can be altered by a skilled seamstress or tailor. If you are between sizes, please always choose the larger size because it is easier to make a garment smaller than bigger. If you would like help choosing which size to buy, please send an email to email@example.com with your bust, waist, and hip measurements and a link to the item you wish to purchase and we will gladly let you know which size is the best option.
Finding your size for a Headpiece, Veil, or Jewelry
Please carefully read a products description for sizing details. All our items are handmade, this means measurements may vary, up to 5%. Measurements listed in the item’s description are carefully taken, and is the best way to determine weather or not the size is right for you. We recommend taking the size of the piece that interests you and placing that against your own head. It is also recommended to bring a photo of the desired piece along when visiting your hair stylist - along with the items measurements if you are in need of a professional opinion. He/she will be able to determine if the best fit for your very specific hairstyle. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to purchase if you need further guidance on size!
We always try or best to describe colors through descriptions and photos, but all colors can look slightly different from screen to screen. If you would like swatch samples for garments, dresses, or wearables, they can be provided at an additional cost. Please be aware that sending swatch samples can take additional time, and that time sensitivity should be considered when making a purchase and decision. Are your flowers machine made?
No, we take pride in millinery or handcrafted techniques! All of our fabric, clay, or resin flowers are handmade. They are custom designed and crafted using the finest silks, laces, cottons, and clays. Each of our flowers are unique and special.
What kind of backings or metal elements do you use?
We use a wide array of high-quality gold/ silver/ rhodium plated wire combs, alligator clips, bobby pins, snap clips, and french barrettes. The specific elements used will be included in the item’s description based on what we think is best for that specific style. Ear wires are .925 sterling silver or gold filled for our ladies with sensitive ears. Gold filled wears like normal gold and will not rub off. If you prefer a different style of backing please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will gladly get back to you.
Can you create an item with custom colors?
Yes, we can! this falls under our detailed Bespoke FAQ’S. Please see that page for details.
How do I take care of my item?
If properly cared for, Miss Foxine pieces will last you for many years, and are great heirlooms to pass on.
Veils: It will need to be steamed before wearing to release wrinkles. If you do not own a hand-held steamer, you can iron at the lowest setting with light pressure. Be aware that high temperatures can damage the delicate veiling. Another option is misting lightly with water than blow drying at a low setting. Hand held steamers can be bought at Walmart, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, or at other similar locations often for $30 and under. Please hang veils to store to avoid deep wrinkles, or fold lightly folded in box which gives it lots of space to breathe.
Handmade Flowers: If your item includes this element, please do not wet or soak as it can ruin their volume and quality. Spot clean if needed. If they are hand dyed (we use only non-toxic ingredients) we can not guarantee they will stay in perfect condition after an attempt to clean them. Please store in box included in shipping, or a larger box of your own as confining the piece could wrinkle or destroy the volume of the flowers.
Wired Vines and Wired Elements: Do not bend back and forth and avoid direct contact with hair products. Please add hairspray and hair products first and let completely dry prior to placing the piece in. If you can avoid hairspray on the specific area where the hairpiece will be placed that would be better but not necessary. Store in box provided to prevent dust and dirt accumulation.
For metal hairpieces: Please be careful not to shake or drop the box. Do not attempt to bend too much to avoid breaking. Store in box provided to prevent dust and dirt accumulation.
Any damages that are not due to shipping or customer mishandling must be made known to us within 48 hours of delivery email@example.com. After that time, the damages will be the responsibility of the customer. Please read our Return Policy for details.
Wedding Dresses, Gowns, and other wearables: Each garment will have a sewn in label which has detailed care instructions inside. For the best care dry clean only, and hang on a hanger with full length down and sew in supportive straps. Spot clean if needed, and do not wring out water. Lay flat to dry any wet areas.
What fabrics do you use in your Wedding Gowns, Coverups, and other Wearables?
We pride ourselves in using luxurious yet affordable fabrics! We use the softest silks, satins, crepes, polyesters, cottons, laces, tulles, beads, embellishes, and high-quality embroideries. Each gown and wearable design have its own specific fabric requirements to ensure quality of design and drape is met.
What beads, and embellishments do you use in your items?
In many of our designs, we use real fresh water pearls, swarovski crystals, swarovski pearls, swarovski rhinestones, and small genuine glass seed beads. This will be listed in the products description.
Where are your products made?
The majority of our accessories are handcrafted completely from scratch by hands trained in our studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia. All our bridal gowns are made locally in Halifax, Nova Scotia. All our materials are sourced from small business who specialize in high quality production and are located in Canada, U.S., Europe, and Asia.
With some accessory designs, we work with specialized small businesses with skilled techniques in and out of Canada on custom metal components, finish, plating, and mould pouring. Miss Foxine Couture respects other artists, and their experience in specific services, trades, and years of training. We seek out those who are the best in what they do. Extra hand finished details and work are completed in studio. We inspect each piece for quality before the item leaves our hands from Halifax, Nova Scotia. We strive to achieve the level of design our clients appreciate and admire.
Do you recreate designs?
Here at Miss Foxine Couture, we strive to be unique like all of our lovely brides are! Any of our past designs can be remade depending on material availability and may be subject to different processing times. We however do not copy or recreate another brands design or product. It is best to support the artist you admire and purchase from them directly. If you choose to shop with Miss Foxine or go for a custom Bespoke Design, we hope you fall in love with our style because your heart says so.
